Ingredients:

For the jelly:

  • 1 packet of agar-agar powder
  • 350ml water
  • 100g sugar
  • 50g grated coconut

For the syrup:

  • 300ml water
  • 150g sugar
  • 4 pandan leaves

Instructions:

To make the jelly, first dissolve the agar-agar powder in water and sugar in a pot over low heat. Continue stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved. Add in the grated coconut and stir well.

Next, strain the mixture through a cheesecloth to remove the coconut pulp. Pour the mixture into a square tray and let it cool to room temperature. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until it has set.

To make the syrup, mix water, sugar and pandan leaves in a pot over low heat.

Stir until the sugar has fully dissolved. Let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes. Set aside to cool.

Cut the jelly into small square pieces and place them into serving bowls. Pour the syrup over the jelly and top it off with some grated coconut. Voila! Your delicious and refreshing My Kuali Jelly Kelapa is ready to be served!
